Creator of Max on Snax®

It was an illustration of my son and a desire to change children’s eating habits that sparked the idea of Max On Snax®, a child making his own healthy snacks and teaching other children how to do it.
I have dedicated the last few years of my professional life to the issue of healthy lifestyles for kids. The recent statistics on childhood diabetes and obesity underscore the problem. I believe that Max on Snax® can encourage children to make better food choices in an easy, entertaining format.
Max on Snax® is a boy just this side of five, who hopes that one day he will become a famous chef. He is for now, an assembly artist, preparing snacks from cold ingredients. He loves rhyming and peanut butter. He likes to wear his snax hat™ and apron when preparing snacks. Max enjoys doing things himself with the permission, of course, from “one of those big people” and he always reminds us to wash our hands.
